Marine science is one of 911ºÚÁϱ¬ÁÏÍø’s distinguishing programs and the science diving course, which was added to the curriculum in 2008, is a relatively unique offering. It’s part of a broader program that trains 300 divers per year, more than any university in the country.
The annual New Student Otter Orientation is an important element for students who are beginning their 911ºÚÁϱ¬ÁÏÍø educational careers. First-year students went through their orientation June 22-24 and 26. Transfer students are scheduled for their turn July 13-15 and 17.
CSU Monterey Bay is increasing the size and lowering the cost of its Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in an effort to make a greater impact on healthcare in the Monterey region.
Recognizing the contributions of those who’ve come from foreign countries during Immigrant Heritage Month is important, said Dennis Kombe, a professor of mathematics education at CSU Monterey Bay who was born and raised in Kenya.
